How to Deactivate a User in Adavico

We often get asked how to delete users from Adavico. While it might seem like the easiest option, users cannot be deleted due to audit trail requirements. This ensures there's always a record of activity for security, compliance, and historical reference.

✅ What You Can Do: Deactivate the User

Deactivating a user removes their access to the system but keeps their past actions in place—so you don’t lose any data or context.

? Steps to Deactivate a User in Adavico:

  1. Go to the Users menu.

  2. Click on List Users.

  3. Select the user you want to deactivate.

  4. Under the Role section, update the Status to Inactive.

  5. Select Update to save your changes.

? Once marked as Inactive, the user will no longer be able to log into Adavico, but their past activity will remain visible to maintain a full audit trail.

Need to reactivate a user later? Just return to the same screen and switch their status back to Active.
